Naturopathic Practice for Psychotherapy
(Psycho) therapeutic climbing
For humans, climbing is a natural, primal activity that also moves the way we feel inside.
Climbing stimulates vitality that has an almost immediate effect. The behavioural patterns and emotions experienced while climbing can be discussed with the therapist.
Climbing is an ideal way to experience the various aspects of self-efficacy ("I can climb!"), self-confidence ("Yes, I've actually made it all the way to the top!"), release (through abseiling) and a sense of security (by being held by a climbing partner). The climbing difficulty will be assigned according to the exact needs of the client.
Aspects of psychology and education can be optimally combined through climbing.
