Naturopathic Practice for Psychotherapy
Animal-assisted therapy
Many animals are known to have a positive effect on humans. Their friendly, non-judgemental nature ensures we not only feel good in their presence, but also feel as if we share a common bond. The animals react spontaneously to the behaviour of the client, even to unconscious or restrained moods. The client often feels a connection in the presence of the animals and is then willing to share his or her concerns and needs with the therapist - also present. Once the client's concerns have finally been expressed they can then be addressed and resolved.
